Continuing our support for Zonta House and The Cancer Council

June 2015

DM Civil participated in our 2nd HBF Run for a Reason, entering a team of 16 comprised of employees and family members.  Our chosen organisation to support was Zonta House and we are pleased to have raised over $700 in monetary donations as well as winter clothing and sleepwear.  We thank all employees that participated in this appeal.

Zonta House provide support to women who have experienced domestic violence, mental health and other life crises.  In particular, our contribution will go towards their Positive Pathways program, which aims to assist these women to lead more independent lives.  To find out more about the organisation, please visit www.zontahouse.org.au.

We also participated in the Cancer Council’s Biggest Morning Tea for the 4th time.  We held a lunch at our premises in Maddington and to encourage field personnel participation, we held a raffle to win various prizes.  Once again we thank all employees for their support of the Cancer Council.  DM Civil raised over $700, up from $300 in previous years.

We now look forward to the City to Surf in August, where we aim to increase the size of our team and continue our support for Zonta House.
