DM Civil achieves Gold Worksafe Plan Award

On Tuesday, 14th July 2015 DM Civil was presented with a Gold WorkSafe Plan Certificate of Achievement. The award was personally presented by WorkSafe Commissioner Mr Lex McCulloch, for formal recognition of our internal Health and Safety Management Systems.

The WorkSafe Plan Certificates of Achievement are presented by the following three levels:

SILVER – for organisations meeting minimum industry standards

GOLD – for organisations demonstrating good progression towards industry standards

PLATINUM – for those organisations that achieve highest industry standards

There were a number of areas assessed during the 2-day WorkSafe Plan Audit, which identified how well our safety and health system is managed. This included planning, consultation, reporting, hazard management, training, supervision and management commitment.

We will be aiming at achieving the highest award level of Platinum at the earliest opportunity.

For DM Civil to receive a Gold Award on the first application is a great accomplishment. We extend our appreciation to the entire employee group for your constant support and commitment.
