DMC City to Surf Team Raises $1000 for Zonta House Women’s Refuge
On Sunday 31st August, a team of 18 employees participated in the City to Surf. There was a mix of 4km and 12km entrants and apart from a few aches and pains the following day, we are all so pleased to have been able to raise awareness and funds for Zonta House and their Positive Pathways program.
Zonta House Women’s Refuge’s mission is to provide support services to women who have experienced family and domestic violence, homelessness and other crises enabling them the opportunity to make safe and sustainable life choices. Their Positive Pathways program aims to empower women to make choices about their life before a crisis point is realised.
We are pleased to make a donation of $1,000 to Zonta House for the exceptional work they do. We look forward to being able to continue our support. For further information about Zonta House or to see how you can assist, their website is http://www.zontahouse.org.au/. You can also follow them on Facebook.
Thanks again to all employees that participated. We look forward to an even bigger turn out next year!
