Under the guidance and wisdom of our two chairmen, Reg Toohey and Tony Spanjers, our experienced board is well placed to steer our business forward.
Reg Toohey
Chairman
Reg and Tony established DM Civil in 1976 – together with Tony’s late brother Eric – and quickly became known for their high quality of work and ability to successfully complete any project across Western Australia. Reg continues to mentor and provide wisdom and guidance to the Board of Management.
Tony Spanjers
Chairman
Tony and Reg established DM Civil in 1976 – together with Tony’s late brother Eric – and quickly became known for their high quality of work and ability to successfully complete any project across Western Australia. Tony continues to mentor and provide wisdom and guidance to the Board of Management.
Stephen Hall
Managing Director
Steve joined DM Civil in 1993 as Finance Manager and became an inaugural Board member in 1999, responsible for a number of key portfolios and fundamental initiatives to support the growth of the business. As Managing Director, Steve is accountable for the overall direction and commercial management of the company.
Jason Toohey
Managing Director
Involved within the civil industry since 1993, Jason joined the Board as Project Manager in 2003. As Managing Director, Jason is accountable for the overall direction and operational management of the company. He continues as a hands-on Project Manager across all projects.
Russell Blakely
General Manager – Pre-Contracts
Russell joined DM Civil in 1997 and became an inaugural Board member in 1999. Russell acts as Project Director and manages our overall contractual statutory compliance. He has extensive experience in design, estimation and construction.
Grant Craven
Projects Commercial Manager
Grant commenced employment with DM Civil in 2001 and has undertaken the lead Project Manager role on various large scale projects across WA. Grant became an Associate Board member in 2012 and assists with leading and mentoring DM Civil’s operational management team.
Scott Feilding
Trenchless Technology Manager
Scott commenced employment with DM Civil in 2005 and manages our Trenchless Technology capabilities. Scott became an Associate Board member in 2012 and continues to focus on the growth and future development of this specialised division.
