DM CIVIL ACHIEVES AN IMPROVED RATING FOR OUR PLATINUM WORKSAFE PLAN

On 29th March 2018, we were independently audited for renewal at Platinum level for WorkSafe Plan Certificates of Achievement. Platinum certificates are only achieved by organisations that can demonstrate the highest standards of occupational safety and health (OSH) against Worksafe’s comprehensive criteria.

We first received Platinum in 2016, with renewal required every two years.

The WorkSafe Plan has five elements and each one has a standard that describes the performance expected for that element. Within each element are several indicators that a company is measured on. The five elements are:

• Management Commitment
  
• Planning
  
• Consultation and Reporting
  
• Hazard Management
  
• Training and Supervision
  

DM Civil always strives for continual improvement of our management systems and we were thrilled to be advised that our overall percentage rating had increased from 2016. This outstanding achievement has resulted from a continued and unified commitment to safety across the whole company.
