Industry awards. We had finalists in the following categories:
- Certificate IV Civil Construction Trainee of the Year - Justin Hanley
- Individual Safety Award - Murray Pich
- Workplace Health and Safety Award - DM Civil
- Women in Civil Award - Cheng Rolfe
- Future Leader Award - Brent Bates
Congratulations to all of our finalists! We recognise the efforts of these individuals to be put up in front of their peers in what is becoming a very large industry body. This was evident when it was announced that the awards night drew a record attendance. Further congratulations extend to Justin Hanley, for winning the Cert IV Trainee of the Year Award! Justin completed his Certificate IV in Civil Construction Supervision and is a passionate advocate of ongoing training for our growing group of drainers. We were also thrilled to be announced as the back to back winner of the Workplace Health and Safety Award. This is a victory not only for our management group and SEQ Department but for every individual in the DM Civil team for making the effort on a daily basis to carry out their work in accordance with company policies and work instructions. We thank the CCF for their ongoing commitment and efforts as our industry body. CCFWA’s President’s Gala

March 2015

The Board of Management, along with a group of award finalists, attended the CCFWA’s President’s Gala Dinner at Crown Perth, held on 20th February. This night incorporated the 2014 Training and Industry awards.

We had finalists in the following categories:

Certificate IV Civil Construction Trainee of the Year – Justin Hanley
Individual Safety Award – Murray Pich
Workplace Health and Safety Award – DM Civil
Women in Civil Award – Cheng Rolfe
