Warradale Terrace and Rogers Way Pressure Mains

Due to continued growth in the Northern Perth corridor, the Warradale Terrace Wastewater Pumping Station was reaching its ultimate capacity. Water Corporation engaged DM Civil to construct upgrade works to the Wastewater system.

Broomehill Water Supply Offtake Removal

DM Civil’s experience in pipe cut-ins, removal of asbestos pipe and shutdown planning
for critical assets was crucial to this project.

North Thompson Sewer Pumping Station and Overflow Storage

Rottnest Island Authority (RIA) contracted DM Civil to upgrade the existing North Thompson Sewer Pumping Station No 6 located on the foreshore at Bathurst Point.

Shorehaven Wastewater Pumping Station and Pressure Main

Peet Limited commissioned the construction of a new wastewater pumping station and selected DM Civil to construct the works.

Austin Cove WWPS

Austin Cove is a residential estate on the western side of the Forrest Highway in South Yunderup.

Canning Vale Pumping Station

DM Civil were able to deliver a complex infrastructure project in an existing residential setting, with minimal impact to the surrounding homeowners and community.

Narngulu Wastewater Treatment Plant

As Geraldton continues to expand, a new wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) was needed to take pressure off the town’s existing infrastructure.

Walkaway Pump Station

The Walkaway Water Supply Pumping Station is an important part of the Geraldton Water Supply Scheme.

Jurien Bay Wastewater Treatment Plant

Due to the rapid population growth in the Jurien Bay area DM Civil was engaged to double the capacity of the existing Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) by constructing a new primary pond, secondary pond and subsequent infiltration ponds.

Arthur Creek Dam, Kununurra

Outlet Works based at Arthur Creek Dam, which at the time, was one of the largest private irrigation schemes in the state.

Pingelly WWTP Upgrade

We were awarded the Pingelly WWTP Upgrade Project by Water Corporation. The works comprise the construction, testing and commissioning complete with all ancillary works.

Arthur Creek Dam Crest Upgrade

DM Civil worked closely with the client and the consulting engineer, GHD Pty Ltd, to provide a constructible solution to rebuilding and relining the existing dam wall.

This was a job that involved some detailed organisation and setting out, coordination with the lining contractor and with the Water Corporation operations so that we could guarantee continuity of supply.

Careful planning and strong client – contractor communication has resulted in the efficient delivery of 980m of new rail formation and supporting access road and drainage infrastructure. The team conducted themselves with professionalism on site and a strong safety focus with no major incidents or injuries during to course of the works.

The ability of the team to provide value adding, engineering solutions to overcome unforeseen problems, namely, unsuitable sub grade material, ongoing wet weather and site drainage problems is testament to the wide range of skills contained within the DM Civil Team. The team demonstrated excellent planning and organisation resulting in smooth execution of the project.

The team has also shown its eagerness to resolve challenges on site through good communication with the Water Corporation and therefore building a strong positive working relationship on site.

Issues during the construction of the road were easily resolved by DM Civil design proposals which overcame unforeseen problems such as dealing with the rocky areas and drainage alignment issues which showed their experience and skills.

DM Civil also displayed a mature approach in dealing with contractual issues throughout the entire construction period.
